I recently became a full time student, pursuing my Master's Degree in Marketing.

I was first introduced to origami at the age of 8 when my aunt gave me an origami book and some origami papers. My interest towards Japanese paper craft had grown ever since. Today, I am able to fold super complex models or even design my own models. In 2003, I decided to make wearable origami jewelry and sold them online. In the same year, I created my original Washi Ningyo kit and received very good response from online shoppers.
I also make other forms of art with various media such as polymer clay, papier mache and drinking straw weaving. Feel free to convo me if you are interested in seeing my portfolio or just looking for like minded craft mate.

FAQs About Me:

Q: Why do you call yourself Tracy?
A: It's my birth name. My parents just thought it'd be easier for others to say or remember my name since I was raised in a multicultural country.

Q: Are you Japanese?
A: No. I'm just lucky to be exposed to different cultures.

Q: Where did you learn to make crafts and sculpts? Did you take classes?
A: I'm too cheap to spend money on something I know is already in my blood, so I'm all self taught with the help of the wonderful Internet.

Q: Do you do swaps?
A: If you have something I want, yeah!

Q: Can you sculpt a portrait doll?
A: I don't sculpt portraits. I can do characters though.

Q: Why are your art dolls so small?
A: I like the challenge of working on smaller scales and not compromising the details.

Q: Can you teach me how to make this piece of craft?
A: For things that I can/ want to teach, I post the tutorials and information on my blog sometimes.

Q: Why are your handmade items so expensive?
A: They are *handmade*; it's a time and energy consuming process; there are a lot of thinking/ planning and trial & error behind every piece; art materials aren't cheap; and in most cases you don't find the same stuff elsewhere.
