Bio

I'm a self-taught knitter, crochetier, and dyer (and I'm also learning to spin, but I'm getting some lessons for that). When I'm not creating items for my shop (and often at the same time) I'm watching NASCAR and NHRA racing on TV, or carrying on perfectly normal conversations with my two cats (that *is* normal, right?). I'm also working on building a website at http://www.jenhintz.com if you'd like to come take a look.

If you wonder where the money you spend in my shop will go, for the majority of it the answer is simple: right here. I'm still working hard on growing my business so just about all of my earnings go right back into my business in the form of materials, office supplies, and all the other little costs of running a business. The small bit of money I do spend on myself usually goes toward a rare and much-enjoyed night out with friends, or to another Etsy seller. I've become enamored of handmade soap, in particular.
