Welcome to Girl Work Studios. My art is born out of a fascination with history, time, material culture, sometimes it's whimsical and sometimes a bit surrealistic. I love texture, rich colors and high contrast. I’m inspired by almost everything; from a particularly vivid shade of rust found in a leaf, to paintings of old dutch masters to my kids laughter. Paint is definitely my favorite medium, but I also dabble in clay, ceramic, collage and fabric.

I’ve sold my work in galleries, by commission and online. I use the finest archival artist grade paints, inks, and supports (canvases, paper or board) in my original artwork.
