Hi, I'm Elise Towle Snow. Argyle Whale is my solo art-making project. I also collaborate with my husband over at LazerBeanz.Etsy.com. I am a graduate of Montserrat College of Art and I currently live in Salem, MA with two opinionated rabbits.

My favorite things are peculiar animals, delicate pastries, gaudy jewels and dramatic weather. Argyle Whale is where I'll collect them in the form of hand stitched rugs, Gocco prints and paintings.

I also write about my experiments and hand-made adventures in my blog (ArgyleWhale.blogspot.com). I would be so pleased if you stopped by.

CONTACT:
The best way to contact me is through Etsy with the “conversations” feature. Just click “contact ArgyleWhale” and I’ll get back to you soon.

SHIPPING:
I’ll ship your order out within three business days of receiving payment (probably sooner). Please be aware that if your payment is in the form of an echeck; I will wait until that clears before sending out the order. Echecks can sometimes take four days to clear.

Your shipping charge on Etsy reflects both the actual postage cost and the cost of my packaging supplies. I take great care to make sure your items will arrive safely and prettily. My prints are packed in a cellophane sleeve and a rigid cardboard mailer. My paintings and rugs are boxed and carefully padded with recycled packing materials.

I ship first class and include delivery confirmation for orders over $20.00. I also insure orders over $30.00. I’d be happy to upgrade, expedite shipping, include delivery confirmation or insurance on any order if I receive a request. I’ll send another invoice through PayPal for upgraded shipping charges.

I will ship to the address provided through Etsy unless otherwise noted.

If you are sending an item directly to someone as a gift; I'd be happy to write out a message from you to send along. Just put any special instructions in the "notes to seller" box during checkout or send me a message.

SATISFACTION:
I try to make my item descriptions very thorough and encourage buyers to contact me with any questions about the product they may have before buying. For that reason, I do not offer returns or exchanges for items due to buyer’s remorse. However, if I have made a mistake or if the item arrives damaged; I will absolutely issue a refund or exchange. The best way to resolve these things is to contact me. I’m pretty nice.
