I am the working mother of Connor (5), Fiona (2) and Emma (8 months), and my knitting suffers from chronic interruption - thus the birth of the pattern tamer. In addition to being a wife and mother, I am a Professor of Literacy at the College of Lake County in Illinios.

Besides knitting, I enjoy reading and writing romance novels (no, nothing published yet)and cooking.
