BEADina's Profile

Bio

I have been designing jewelry since I was 16 years old. I had my first experience selling my work in 10th grade at a craft fair held at my school. Since then, I knew it was my calling (or passion or another word). After graduation, I went on to study fine art at Carnegie Mellon University. There I had the opportunity to take jewelry design classes.

Through the kind support of my family, I was then fortunate enough to have the ultimate artistic opportunity to travel to Florence, Italy. There I studied jewelry, sculpture, painting and Italian culture while traveling Italy. This amazing experience further fueled my addiction to jewelry and specifically beads. My passion became making and buying beads, and designing necklaces that showcased beautiful beadwork.

After college and travel, I was forced to take jobs to finance my bead habit. Jewelry is truly my passion (or joy, or another word). Fortunately, I have met Michael Fortune, my wonderful husband, who has been my greatest supporter. Over the last two years, I have had the blessing to have great friends and family who hold jewelry parties for me where I can sell my work.

I can create beautiful wedding jewelry and custom pieces. I will frequently have new pieces and will be updating the site with new features. I invite you to shop the site and email me directly if you would like to make a purchase. I can accept credit cards for your convenience.
