Bio

In some respects I live a double life. I started making jewelry when I was pregnant with my daughter and about to start medical school in North Carolina. Now, further in my training and desperately craving some kind of artistic outlet, I have taken up making jewelry and other trinkets again. I thrive on discovering how to use new media and I'm driven by the need to not only create items that I enjoy wearing, but also to find innovative ways to use unlikely material (my favorite so far being shingles designed to be
used for building the roofs of doll houses). All in all, I strive to balance both sides of the brain, and show my daughter that is possible to follow more than one passion.
