Bio

I think I’ve reached that point in my life where I’ve started looking for meaning in things. I’ve been doing anime style commissions for about five years now – I’ve worked with authors, advertisers, and I’ve even been published a bit. But I never really created anything for myself, or worked on my own style. I don’t think I had the confidence.

I guess that is what this Etsy shop is all about. I won’t be selling prints of my commissions like I do at conventions. I won’t be taking commissions. Everything I sell here will be my original artwork, from my own brain. We’ll see how that goes. ^_^

A little about me: I am married with two cats. I live in Madison, WI and I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Art and Graphic Design. I lived in England for a few years, which is where I met my husband and our first cat. My first anime influence was from the FF2 game book and Yoshitaka Amano’s artwork when I was 9 years old. I teach classes on anime drawing at libraries and conventions. I wish I was more organized and on my current to-do list is to buy a new lampshade and do the dishes. I’m 6’3” tall. I spend way too much time on the computer. And I think I’ve become too average in my old age. ^_^
