Bio

My dream is to be a professional artist. I grew up near London and so I'm a city girl which is reflected in my work, even my landscapes. Although I use various media and themes, I'm all about light. I'm not a "painter of light" or anything like it, I'm just enamored by the properties and physics of light. This is also reflected in my work - pun intended!

BEADS/JEWELRY:
I've had lots of experience drawing on beads, but recently gave it a rest. Now I'm back at it with a renewed enthusiasm. I see these beads as portable works of art. I love the idea of taking your art with you.

FAIRIES:
I've been making fairies for a while now, so I decided to create some vignettes and find adoptive parents for them.

LANDSCAPES:
The landscapes are made by "pushing" the pigment into printmaking paper and building layer upon layer.

FACES:
My drawings on polymer clay are heavily layered and incorporate all sorts of light reflecting elements. Some drawings are done with watercolor pencil. I love the way I can incorporate painting into my drawings. I'm inspired by life itself, in all its many forms.

OIL PASTELS
I just can't help playing with this incredibly versative medium. The colors are so intense and I'm just driven to make things that are whimsical and dramatic when I use these.
