Bio

I returned to Pittsburgh a few years ago and began knitting full time. I have always felt the urge to create and have dabbled in various forms of arts and crafts. Most of my handmade items were made for and given to family and friends. While I was very fortunate to have many appreciative recipients of my wares, I found some people did not see the value in those one-of-a-kind, handmade tokens of love. So I decided to put my creations in the "market place" to be enjoyed by people who are drawn to these items.

Knitsburgh was born of the two major influences in my life of late: my return to and rediscovery of Pittsburgh, and my obsession with knitting and felted knits. My items are meant to be functional as well as conversational. When I am not knitting I am thinking up new designs or dabbling in another unknown craft.
