ABOUT ME:
My name is Deborah Dell. I am a ceramic artist working and living in Denver, Colorado. In addition to my studio work I have 3 singing, dancing, running children. I also teach and run the ceramics department at Red Rocks Community College.

MY WORK:
I have been fascinated with vases for many years. Vases are functional yet decorative and can be beautiful whether they are in use or not. All of my pieces are thrown parts on the wheel that are altered and then assembled to create the finished vase. The work is fired to cone 6. I often fire a piece multiple times to enhance the surface and create depth in the color. My desire is that the vases are used often but when not in use become an object of quiet appeal.
