ABOUT BALLAD:
ballad is a new product line recently divorced from my previous line, Kircaldy. They remain the best of friends, but had irreconcilable differences. Kircaldy was always intended to be only a fashion line, but played host to a growing amount of gifts and accessories. In order to give each its due, I've split the non-clothing items into another family, ballad.

ballad:handmade is the sales arm of the ballad family. this is where I sell all of the items that I like to make and are reproducible. ballad:studio will showcase the creation of one-off projects, and things that I make for myself and others that are one of a kind, not easily reproduced or that are not cost-effective to remake. ballad:workshop will include DIY tutorials.

ABOUT ME:
My name is Jes. I moved to Los Angeles last year from Birmingham, AL. I love it here, I hated it there, so life is much improved. ;)

I work fulltime as an interactive designer. It's neither inspirational or rewarding, but it's good work, I'm good at it, and it keeps me housed and fed. I think that working so many hours in the virtual feeds my desire to actually make real things that you can hold and touch and see without a machine to translate them. It feels really good to make something tangible.

Pssst! My real passion is writing and performing music.

Returns on non-seasonal merchandise are accepted only if the item has not misrepresented in some way. I encourage you to ask questions before you buy. Seasonal merchandise cannot be returned.

I will combine on shipping for multiple purchases. If a multiple purchase credit has not been given at checkout, please contact me and I will refund the difference in shipping back to your PayPal account.

CRAFTERS: PLEASE do not reproduce my designs for sale! You have your own brain, you're a creative type, surely you can come up with something original that expresses your individual paradigm.
