my name is cristina alana goncalves. i'm a painter/printmaker in the vicinity of baltimore, maryland.

let's see...i have a bfa in painting and printmaking. i want to get my mfa, but right now i'm doing the whole "real life" thing.

i paint in oil, and build all my canvas stretchers and panels myself (unless specifically noted otherwise). canvas paintings can be removed from the stretcher and sent rolled in a plastic tube for a reduced price (since i get to keep my stretcher,) but are priced as though they will be sent stretched. contact me for details on any specific piece.

other media include lithography, etching (intaglio for you fancy types), encaustic, charcoal, graphite, cold wax, and mixed-media collage. i'm teaching myself how to mezzotint at the moment, which is basically awesome.

all work in my shop is original and handmade by me. i accept paypal and credit card. personal checks seem like a no-no to me.

shipping prices are estimated, and should be considered as such. shipping prices will inevitably vary based on buyer's location, weight of the item, and preferred shipping method. i will ship items via US Mail, but am able to ship via FedEx, UPS, or DHL at your request.

all items will be packaged securely to ensure safe arrival. flat items will be shipped between heavy cardboard to prevent bending. People who plan to be in the Baltimore area may schedule a pickup with me, just shoot me an email and we'll work it out. i am unable to make deliveries at this time.
