Bio

I am a stay-at-home mother of one (amazing little boy...) I create beautiful things for moms and babies from my home studio.

I began Mamasita about two years ago, when I became pregnant of my first baby. It started off as a blog, a place to share my experiences as a pregnant woman and later on, as a mother (if you want to have a peak at my little life feel free to visit my blog)

The need to create things, and to make a living out of it, became apparent when, having moved to Spain from my natal Colombia, I found myself in a new place, with no work, no friends, and a little baby to look after. I didn't want to send my baby to nursery school so I decided to start making things to make some money, keep myself entertained whilst at the same time be able to look after my son.

I work from home, where I create beautiful babyslings (pouch style), colourful and fun fabric dolls, and babyclothes.

I use only 100% cotton fabrics (unless otherwise stated) most of the fabrics I use are Japanese (because I love all things Japanese)
