Bio

My name is Holly. I am the sole artisan of DarkeningStar Boutique, though I do occasionally feature the leatherwork or my husband, Andy. DarkeningStar is my fulfillment. I go to work because I have to. I create because I want to.

I play in many mediums and my creations include hand-spun yarns, jewelry, knit and crocheted caps and scarves, bags, baby quilts, dog collars, eye pillows and more. I have been creating for years, teaching myself to knit and spin and sew. Always expanding my abilities and finding new skills to learn and make my own. I love the unique and put everything into all that I do.

I live in Pennsylvania with my law-student husband and our 2 dogs and 2 cats. I cherish my husband, family, friends and, of course, my pets. When I'm not crafting, you can find me in the kitchen making a mess while making something delicious, engrossed in a book, snuggled up with my husband or one of our animals (or all of them!) or working as a scheduler for a large bath remodeling company.
