Bonjour again! My name is Laura Joubert. When I was twelve years old my Grandmere bought me a book about beads that captivated me. I immediately began making jewelry, and eventually branched out to making my own clothes by the time I was in high school. I attended Philadelphia University (formerly Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences), and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design.

All of my pieces are crafted as a one of a kind. They are named, and numbered as well. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike, just like the women who wear them. I want all of the women who wear my pieces to feel feminine, vivid, sensual, and uniquely themselves. If you don't see something that matches your taste, or mood check back because my collections are always evolving.

I am also striving to become a green artist as the state of the environment is a concern for me. Look for Earth and human rights friendly, and recycled designs to make their way into my inventory in the future. As well as clothing, accessories, and photography.

My studio is currently located in Ashland, MA. I work under the loving gaze of my two cats Ben and Pablo, and my boyfriend Zeppo while we listen to NPR. Oh, and The Book of Beads: A Practical and Inspirational Guide to Beads and Jewelry Making By: Janet Coles and Robert Budwig is still apart of my personal library thanks to my Grandmere.
