Bienvenue/Welcome to Piece of Peace! Piece of Peace is my private sanctuary of imagination, creative expression, color, and beauty. It is the place where I collect all of my favorite ideas and inspiration and hope to actualize them.

I'm Ariella, mother to 3 girls who are trying to teach me French. I'm a native Texan relocated to Montreal. After many years of continent jumping, I feel settled here in Quebec, even if they don't really know anything about TexMex.

I have a love of both vintage and modern design, and I hope that my creations evoke a sense of nostalgia while still remaining fresh and new.

Like most people, I dabble in many different types of crafting. Jewelry is my long time craft as well as soap making. I also love textiles, whether it's sewing, knitting, or adding new inspiration to my stash. I love to go treasure hunting for vintage trims, buttons, wool yarn, and one of a kind vintage beads.
