Welcome,
My shop/studio is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I use local grown and harvested wood, Corian and Avonite solid surface material, and dymondwood to make the items we sell. I have been woodworking and woodturning since 1997. I am primarily self-taught, always researching and experimenting with new techniques to expand my knowledge of woodturning and trees. I believe that each piece of wood is unique with its own special personality, therefore no two items will be exactly alike. .I enjoy making pens, bowls, boxes, hollow forms, and scrollsaw items. All of my woodturnings were created on a wood lathe. I use several different sizes of wood lathes and various other woodworking equipment to complete the items we sell. I like to use found wood, trees cut to clear construction sites, power lines or trees damaged by storms. Many of these trees would otherwise be headed for the landfill or fireplace. I also harvest selected trees from our woodlot. Wood is a truly amazing medium and I am pleased to call myself a woodworker. I also accept custom orders please convo me to start the process.
