AsgardJewelry's Profile
Bio
From Scandinavian mythology, Asgard is the home of the Norse gods, and is a magical place full of Gold and Silver palaces.
You, however, are in the Asgard built by me. I hope this Asgard shimmers as brightly for you as it does in legend.
My passion for jewelry was developed from birth, as both of my parents were professional jewelers. Working in a jewelry store, I gained many years of jewelry industry experience from accounting to designing. However, I ventured out to expand my skills with technical and practical training offered away from the glistening shores of my hometown on the Florida panhandle.
I earned my Graduate Gemologist Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California, followed by work as a jewelry appraiser. I then completed a 1 year practical in stone carving in Idar-Oberstein, Germany under Master Carver, Hans Ulrich Pauly.
Having studied art and business at the University of West Florida added an important facet to my jewelry repertoire. However, I was still missing the key ingredient: creating jewelry with my own two hands. So, I initiated my long-awaited desire to fabricate jewelry by enrolling in the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, California and earned the Graduate Jewelry Diploma. I also obtained Bench Jeweler Certification by the Jewelers of America.
I moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2006 and strive to create exquisite jewels that will endure the test of time. My goal is to achieve the highest quality of craftsmanship of which I am capable. This is my Asgard.
I am professionally trained to work in all precious metals: Sterling Silver and Argentium Sterling Silver, all karats and colors of Gold, and Platinum.
