Bio

Photography is something that I have loved to do since I was little. Cameras were always a presence among my family. It seemed that every event, no matter how small or large, there were always someone, actually, many, taking pictures. Both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, it seemed like everyone.

Originally from the small, historic town of Bordentown, New Jersey, I graduated from Montserrat College of Art which is located in Beverly, MA., with a B.F.A. in Photography in 1996. Among my many classes I took, were colour theory, painting, printmaking, graphic design, art history, sculpture, life drawing, anthropology, sociology, literature and illustration.

I love to shoot pictures, period. Telling a story through my imagery and preserving images is a passion of mine. I realized that early on. In college is where I truly realized my purpose was not just graphic design, but photography. I came to this conclusion when I was spending more time in the darkroom than at my drafting table.

I recently moved back to Bordentown, NJ after being in Los Angeles, CA for 10+years. All of the work that I do is mine and all is printed in my studio using a professional printer using acid free inks, papers and materials.

My daughter and husband are what drives me to succeed and to give the best of myself in all that I do.
