Bio

I am a self-taught knitter and crocheter (with the help of books and the internet). I started learning these crafts while in college, as I had few other forms of entertainment. It has since progressed into an obsession, where I find that I need to be constantly creating.

I've been on Etsy since early 2007 (originally as Shutterkate.etsy.com). All works in my shop are my original designs, made from patterns that I myself developed. I make each item by hand with the same love and care I'd devote to a gift I was making for a loved one. Handmade is, after all, all about the love!
