Born on the first day of Spring Training in Cooperstown, NY, I've served as a researcher for the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, and I was the long time Photo Editor for Major League Baseball in Manhattan.

I was also a Sr. Baseball Glove Craftsman, making ball gloves for elite players.

Sports and leather inspire me.

The lemon peel style baseball represents an important link in baseball's early history. Few are aware that the modern "figure eight" style baseball evolved from the lemon peel style ball. Originally a homemade toy, the lemon peel baseball emerged over 200 years ago. I designed LEMON BALL™ baseballs as my quixotic goal to foster an appreciation for this little known baseball.

LEATHER HEAD™ footballs are made in the modern style, but they are made to be used by normal humans, not the behemoths of the NFL.
I designed them to be slightly smaller than an official league ball. LEATHER HEAD™ footballs are intended for enjoyment by sports lovers of all sizes.

I make LEMON BALL™ baseballs and LEATHER HEAD™ footballs for enthusiasts throughout the United States and the World. They are available online through Etsy and they are featured at several retail shops including the Baseball Hall of Fame's gift shop.
