Bio

Hello, my name is Lenore Perez. I was born, raised and stil live in beautifull Montery
California. My hometown is the inspiration for all of my artwork. I am an emerging mixed media artist. I started out taking watercolor classes in my 40's. I always had trouble with perspective so I moved on to abstract acrylic painting which I am much more comfortable in. I also love bead work. I have been interested in art since I was a young child. In the 60's my mother brought home a mosaic coaster kit for me. I also painted and assembled surfer models and car models. My childhood masterpiece was a big ship made of different shapes of pasta, and glued on the board. it ws about 3'X6'

I love beads of all shapes colors and sizes, when traveling I head straight to the nearest bead store, I also love painting, my current projects are abstract painting, Soon I will be starting an abstract series on my cancer experience
