Bio

My name is Steph and I started creating dresses when I bought a handful of sample wedding gowns in 2004 and made Corpse Bride costumes out of them. I had so much fun with the concept, that I spent the next year collecting fabrics, dresses and other items to upcycle into unique costumes and interesting formal dresses. I released my first collection of twenty costume dresses in 2005.
A lot of my designs begin as several wedding dresses "deconstructed" to one hand painted dress and others are made from scratch.

I add new designs each September and occasionally throughout the year.
