Who's Runaway Fashion Girl?

Runaway Fashion Girl is 18 years old is Holly Haynes, indie artist and fashion designer. Holly was artistic since birth and is pretty sure she came out of the womb with a pencil and sketch book in hand. She always had the dream that one day she'd be an artist, it is her passion. The first product she started to sell were dolls she learned to make out of scrap fabric at an art class. She started making a few dolls independently for family and friend and in the Fall of 2002 participated in she very first craft show, A Youth Artist Market at the Detroit festival of the Arts, selling her dolls and they were a BIG hit. Sewing she since she was five and drawing since birth, she decided it was time to share those talent with the public also, she started making and designing she own bags, hats and accessories, expanding her company from dolls to cute unique handmade accessories.

She started participating to craft two to three show a year, then self wearing her stuff around town, resulting in random people constantly approaching her saying "Where get that your hat or bags" or "Cute, I want one." She thought "I'm going to start my own business" and soon she started carrying she merchandise around with her sell it to people who want them. Still she was working on her business part-time. In August in 2007, she decided to broke out of the craft show mold and become more independent starting efforts to launch she business full time, spreading the DIY spirit by getting her wear in stores and online at www.runawayfashiongirl.webs.com
