Bio

Born on Staten Island, NY and raised in Montana, Minnesota, and Kentucky, I have come to call the Twin Cities home for the past thirteen years. I've been creating handmade artwork and jewelry since childhood.

I remember sitting for hours as a child with my grandfather, pouring over his old geological books on hot Florida summer days. Helping him to carefully label and catalog his rock collection. Taking outings to flea markets to buy vintage jewelry, hunt down rock specimens, and scour dusty bins for stray beads and buttons. These memories mark the beginning of my love affair with gems, beads, and metals. Faceted, round, shot through with inclusions or clear as a summer’s day in Florida – I can’t seem to get enough of stone and natural beads – or of using them in exciting and challenging jewelry creations.

I strive to create pieces of jewelry that are both unique and precious to the wearer by embellishing each piece with thoughtful details and careful attention to craft. My work incorporates nature's organic form, multi-cultural motifs and symbolism into wearable fine art. To me, the most wonderful aspect of wearable art is that it can be enjoyed both by the wearer and those who view the pieces worn, sending visual messages of the beauty and diversity of nature.

Items will be shipped within 3 business days of purchase - international orders may take up to 10 days to arrive at their destination. I provide a gift box for each item at no additional charge and will ship in a bubblemailer. All items shipped via first class mail.
