Jewellsdreams's Profile

Bio

I’ve been dreaming of the future for a long time. This is how JewellsDreams came to be my shops name. I also know that my dreams were that I of my Native American ancestors. When I was little I use to be always on the Indian’s side. I kept telling my family that we had Native American blood running through my veins. My dad finally did our family tree.

I was in love with a beautiful Mescalaro Apache. He had such a deep soul and he taught me how to learn who I was, because I felt lost. He taught me more about the religion; traditions, spirits and he finally said that he knew me better than I knew myself. I was stun. All my later life I felt different. I was told that when you feel the beat of the drum you would know. I started listening to him and continued going to Pow Wows and a sweat lodge. I felt so emotional and couldn’t stop crying.

On day at one of the Indian Pow Wow’s I bought coupons for a drawing & 3 times my number was drawn. One was a Woman’s Dancing Shawl – it was beautiful. I put the shawl around me and entered the circle of dance. I felt so much at home. Maybe there’s something to me drawing the winning number 3 times.

This wonderful man made beautiful Indian jewelry and he told me that one day I to would make great jewelry too. I asked how? He said, “Just listen to your soul, inner spirit and the creativity that you were born with." Build on that and soon your Native American blood will start taking over. I had been having personal mental health issues and I have prayed and asked for the spirits help. Something came to me and realized that I needed to make the jewelry that I know and love.

I was making jewelry that I thought people wanted not what I liked. But I was not happy. Now, I’m making a change in what I design and create - only make and sell jewelry or items you love. I just hope others will see these wonderful pieces as an art form as I do. Each bead will be artistically placed not by a drawing, magazine or any other instructions, but from my own mine. This is why my jewelry is so unique – it’s all from beneath my soul and my mind.
