Zozca - A bright star in the Leo Constellation. A name created to show that no matter how large we may become, we are but minute in the grand design of it all. For that reason, we are a green company in that we use only minimal or recycled packaging. We are only on this earth for such a short time that we should be good stewards on it while we are here. We use only essential, natural and organic oils and only those of the highest quality will do. Our soaps weigh at least 4oz although, since we cut each and every one of them by hand, they usually range in weight between 4 - 4.5oz.

The silk we use in our soaps is Organic Tussah Noil Silk which is sometimes known as "peace silk" or "vegetarian silk" . This means that the silkworms have been allowed to grow and mature and live peacefully. Once the moths have left their cocoons, the cocoons are then collected. No silkworms or moths are harmed in this process.

Our lotions are paraben, formaldehyde and propylene glycol free. As of this writing there isn't a natural preservative out there that has been safely tested against all bacteria and microbes. For this reason, we do use a safe,synthetic preservative system.

What makes us different is that we use minimal packaging. Our soaps are sent to you almost naked. They are wrapped with a hemp cord that holds a card printed on handmade, eco-friendly paper which is made from the bark of the Daphne bush. This bush regenerates naturally providing a renewable resource. The paper is also embedded with flower seeds so that you can plant it afterwards. That is it. The hemp cord is in one piece so that you may reuse it to add beads to make a bracelet, wear it as an anklet, etc.

Our lotions are packaged in 100% post consumer recycled bottles. Once you are done with our bottles, please recycle them either by cleaning them out and using them yourself, or by bringing them to the nearest recycling center.


We are a Texas based company and have been making our soaps and lotions from scratch since 1998.
