medusaCreations is a partnership between sister mask makers, Holly and Nette, also known as the Glitter Sisters.

Holly has been creating masks in a variety of mediums for 20+ years. Each mask has a story in its design, which is then translated into words in the form of a short story. Woodcraft and artistic design are the focus of her imagination.

When Nette became interested in mask making, Holly agreed to give her an apprenticeship, so that she could learn the art. Nette’s artistic vision has expanded over the last year and we are proud to present her masks to the public.

Each and every one of our masks is an original design. We use a variety of exceptional materials; recycling, rather than wasting, the leftover bits.

Every mask is signed and dated by the medusaCreations artist that created it. Most are OOAK (one of a kind), though we also create some lines of masks that are designed to be re-interpreted in both color and materials. Comfort and beauty are what we strive for with each mask, so each one is handcrafted with a meticulous eye to detail. We care about how every angle of the mask is perceived and are diligent with its crafting on the back, as well as the front.

We are medusaCreations. We celebrate the creation of life in our masks, infusing them with the wisdom and beauty of our mothers. We hope you will find a connection, as well.
