Bio

I have been crocheting for over 20 years, and while I have always enjoyed making the items that my family needs, provided I had the time, I now make items out of necessity, and out of the need for a daily balance, including some inner-peace. Hence the creation of my small business, Brown Creek Exchange.

Crocheting is one of my crafts that does this. Using handdyed and handspun products adds beauty to that peace.

Living rural is a blessing and a life lesson in sustainability. Local farms, ranches, farmers markets, and small businesses provide not only continual opportunities for fresh products and friendly faces, but also opportunities to use local materials, such as alpaca, lamb's wool and yak yarn.
