THE FUN PART~
I have always enjoyed making fun items to tickle your fancy in various mediums. Dolls, pinatas, sachets, bags are just a few of the items I'm making now .. but I have plenty of ideas for new projects. My art is both a fun and healing process for me....
THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTY PART~
I expand this healing and joy to the world around me. Suzees JubileeZ is basically non profit. I pay for supplies and a few basic needs to keep it afloat. the proceeds of my sales and my art work go to various agencies and groups the support people or the arts.Some of the organizations that have benefitted in a small way from this fiber art some from sales in the store others from direct donations are: SASSM sexual assault support services of southern Maine, The Theater Project, Family Crisis, a homeless shelter for teenagers in midcoast Maine,The Children of Gaza a group providing art supplies and clothing to children and their families devasted by the recent bombings on the Gaza Strip in occupied Palestine.
