I am pleased you chose to learn more about me and my shop here on Etsy.
I've been addicted to clay since I first touched it some 30 years ago and it has become my life vocation. Even after 30 years I am still amazed at the transformation of the raw materials into the finished pieces. That connection of human hand, earth, and fire that has been entrancing people for centuries.
I love glazes that are warm and earthy and draw most of my inspiration from the prairie landscape around me.
When asked about making art or craft I like to refer to a quote from Bernard Leach who is one of the pottery greats that has most inspired my work.

He says:

"Every artist knows that he is engaged in an encounter with infinity, and that work done with heart and hand is ultimately worship of life itself."

I work hard to ensure that all of the functional pottery I produce can withstand the rigors of everyday use and I do not use glazes that contain any lead,barium,chrome,or other materials that might be hazardous to both your health (and my health.) I have to have my hands in it as I create.
I also love to create jewelry and I've been making a sincere endeavor to use products and components that are lead and nickel free, and whenever possible fairly traded.



If for any reason your purchased arrives damaged or broken I will gladly replace the article with one of equal or greater value upon receipt of some proof that the item arrived damaged. A digital photo will be fine.

If you wish to purchase both pottery and jewelry I will ship the jewelry free of charge with the pottery.

For example, if you buy a pendant and a mug your cost for shipping will be the price charged for shipping the mug. Shipping prices quoted are for Canada Post priority surface mail. The rates quoted include insurance for lost parcels up to $100.



Any duty fees or tariffs, are the responsibility of the customer.
