I have loved crafting for more years than I would like to admit. My first love was embroidery but I always seemed to pick huge pieces that took months to complete. I started making beaded jewelry several years ago. I can finish a piece over the weekend and feel like I've really accomplished something. Quilting just seemed to follow naturally.

Picking a name for my business wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. After hearing my husband complaining for the hundredth time that I was always playing with my beads the decision was easy. Now I'm not playing- I'm working!

I try to use as many recycled materials as I can in my projects. I save everything. I hate to throw anything away that looks like I could possibly use it in a project someday. I did get slightly depressed when I realized that according to Etsy rules I have a huge collection of vintage supplies just because I hung on to my stash for too many years!
