Bio

I am a graphic designer in the Washington, DC area.
I have a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan's School of Art and Design, where I majored in graphic design, but took a metalworking class with Gene Pijanowski right before I graduated and wished I could turn back time to take more metals courses.

I have enjoyed making beaded jewelry for decoration and gifts for over twelve years. While most of my pieces are wire and glass, I have dabbled in beadweaving and wish to improve my skills! When my two young children (ages 4.5 and 7 years) give me some free time (ha!) I'll try making more of those beautiful woven pieces.

I've recently branched out into plush dollmaking. I'm focusing on handsewn felt ballerina dolls and animals.
