Bio

Hi, I'm Jon Shearin. I am a blacksmith and metal fabricator living in the mountains of North Carolina. I am the in charge of the Iron program at the Penland School of Crafts located in Penland, NC, which is also where I learned blacksmithing. I graduated from NC State University with a Bachelor's degree in Art & Design. I've been working with steel almost everyday for the past 10 years and haven't run out of ideas yet.
