Hello, Artists!

Maille Etc was born out of necessity… necessity to support my endless bead and wire addiction. If you're reading this, you'll totally understand what I'm talking about!

In the mid-nineties I encountered loose beads. I was wowed and amazed, and my fascination with all things beady and wire only increases as the years fly by.

Like many of you, my past is checkered; checkered with forays down many artistic avenues. While I still dabble in a few of my past loves, beads and wire have continued to keep me riveted and very happily amused. And, though I realize there is no way in one lifetime to master all, I’m totally intent on at least making a dent!

I am very thankful, and consider myself extremely fortunate, to not only be able to create jewelry but also to teach (chainmaille, beading, wirework). So, if you’re located in or near the Central-Ohio Area and wish to gather your friends/family for classes or would like to join an existing group, please contact me. I love sharing my passion through teaching, and as a well-deserved bonus for my hosts, they pay for kits only (class fees are waived).

Lastly, our environment is free of smoke and furkids.

If ever you've ended up with the wrong size jump rings for your chainmaille or jewelry designs, or maybe you're not sure what size and/or quantity of jump rings you'll need for a particular weave or design, you've come to the right place. I'm happy to assist you in determining the correct wire gauge and inner diameter for your jump rings, and if you have a project that you would like kitted, I'm only a convo away!

Upon order, I'll coil and precision sawcut your jump rings, using state-of-the-art power. Your jump rings are then thoroughly tumbled, till clean, hardened, burr-free, and blindingly shiny - the way I like them!

I often have 14K gold-filled wire in stock and accept custom orders for gold-filled jump rings; the same with Argentium. If you're interested, please convo for pricing/details.
