Hiya! Thanks for stopping by.

Yaya is a nickname bestowed upon me by my niece back when she was just beginning to talk. It doesn't resemble my real name at all, but I like it and blog under it elsewhere on the web.

I started selling elf slippers on Etsy after a friend suggested it. I didn't know then that the slippers would become such a big part of my life!

I do love making the slippers. I knit them on a hand-operated knitting machine, which gives me great control over the consistency and quality. The slippers are then felted in my washing machine! I'm constantly investigating how to improve my product, and I appreciate customer feedback, everything helps me make what I make better! When I'm not crafting my wares I'm homeschooling my two feisty kids and dreaming about living in the country.

Store Policies

PAYMENT:

*Payments conveniently handled through PayPal; I currently do not accept PayPal eChecks. If you cannot or will not use PayPal feel free to contact me regarding alternate methods BEFORE your purchase and we'll discuss options; USPS money orders are preferred. Payments must be cleared and complete before I will ship your product; be aware this may take some time when not using PayPal.

CUSTOM ORDERS:

*Custom items require some time to make depending upon the item and my current workload. Typically, shipment is within a week, but I will let you know if the item will be done faster or needs more time. You will receive a confirmation convo or email before I ship.

SHIPPING:

*Postage will include delivery confirmation whenever it is possible (usually within the U.S. only).

*International customers, convo me before your purchase if you desire a shipping method other than USPS International First Class. Also, I am not responsible for any extra fees added by your country's customs officials or postal service, I fill out customs forms accurately.

*If I've miscalculated shipping and overcharged by more than $1.00 I will refund the difference back to you. Shipping includes delivery confirmation and insurance whenever possible.

*I will always combine shipping for you, but please convo me for a revised invoice before paying; total weight and packaging will factor into the price.

RETURNS and REFUNDS:

*You should be happy with your purchase! If you aren't, don't hesitate to contact me. I will work with you to make things right and will accept returns for exchange or refund (minus original shipping costs). Please convo me to discuss the problem within 7 days of the delivery of your item. Items for return must not have been altered or damaged (normal wear from trying them out is fine, but not cut, embellished, painted, etc.)
