HOME FOR THE ALPHA MALE

After slogging away in the residential Interior Design industry, struggling with moral dilemmas (creativity or cash?), existential angst (what am I actually contributing to the world!?) and personality clashes (botoxed, zombie, old money housewives and psychotic, backstabbing decorators) I managed to step back far enough for an objective view, and did not like what I could see.

I was working in a luxury industry, selling things to people I did not like. Things they were unwilling to open their fat wallets for. Things they thought would make them happy (which didn't) and they were ultimately ungrateful for.

No more.

MIKE.ID is my attempt at putting this right. An attempt to bring something a little more down-to-earth and genuine to this industry without compromising quality or design.

And an attempt to be true to myself and my sense of style. Hence, Mike. Products and design with a masculine edge. It's stuff for men, and those that love them...
