Bio

Growing up in a large family, I learned needlework, sewing and ceramics from my mother, aunt and grandmother.
After a few years I married, had 2 kids and returned to college.
I earned my degree in Electrical Engineering and turned to beading and jewelry design to escape the testosterone overload in the industry.
I started with beads and bead embroidery but soon incorporated wirework into my creations.
Soon I found that I wanted to make my own beads. So, with a torch and some glass that's what I'm doing. 
Inspiration comes from everywhere. It's been found in old needlework patterns, pictures of nature that I like to take, and the cultures of my ancestry (Polish, German, English, Irish, Dutch, Indian and there's surely more in there somewhere)
