****PLEASE NOTE!! There are currently a lot of resellers in etsy's plants section. They often have pixelated photos from stealing thumbnails, and they often have commercial websites. They can charge Walmart prices because they aren't doing the work, that is, harvesting seeds by hand from plants they have grown themselves, or growing plants themselves. These people are destroying etsy's handmade plant businesses. Please buy from members of etsy's plant team by searching for tag etsyphat (etsy's plants and horticultural team). Also, for new gardeners, please be aware that hybrid seeds cannot be saved like open pollinated and heirloom seeds. Thanks!

Hi! I'm a writer, photographer and gardener among other things. When I became disabled I began concentrating more on gardening and I am slowly working to turn my whole yard into wildlife habitat. Check out Animal Planet's Backyard Habitat for some great ideas!
I love all growing things and I love to learn about their various uses. One of my dreams is to get a degree in ethnobotany.
I believe in seed saving to complete the circle. It was only through individuals that certain heirloom varieties survived to today and in the future I will be offering many more varieties. I have a lot of plans for this little shop, so I hope you'll stop in often!

Update! I finally started a blog at http://wiseplants.blogspot.com/

Unfortunately, due to the many resellers in the plants section, I have opened new shops. You can now also find me at:
