Why the name 'JustaBrenda'?

My brother was born hearing impaired, I am 4 years younger but we both learned to talk approximately around the same time.
My mom would spend hours speaking words into a recorder and then playing them back to help teach him to speak...apparently when asked my name I would reply 'Brenda'...if someone asked Brenda who? I replied just-a-brenda'...

btw, that was the late 60's and it was a reel-to-reel tape recorder that was used... ;-O

Mixed media and collages spring from the love of vintage, tattered and torn things and stuff most people would throw out!

My name is Brenda Braun, I am a insanely creative person living in a rural area of Ontario, Canada. Coming from a very long line of creative souls, it was probably inevitable that I would make stuff!

Ive had collages and paperarts published in several international magazines such as Somerset Studio and The Rubber Stamper.

Almost 4 years ago, I opened a working studio, craft supply and gift boutique in a nearby town.

Last year, we built a small store on our property to house the gift shop.

I am married with 2 teenagers and understands why some animals eat their young...
