Anita Bhattacharya Oates
Combines her loves of design with her passion for animals. She received a bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusettes USA in 1991 and went on to practice both residential and commercial design with various architecture firms in MA, NH, and FL.

However, it was a break in her career, to raise her daughter, that brought her back to her main passions: art, animals, and adventure. She created the brand Otrada to reflect her calling to produce the most stylish and distinctive animal-inspired products on the market. As she says,” I wanted to combine my design training with my passion for animals. We all know animals bring joy to people and in some way my purpose is to make items that do the same“.
