Hi there! Welcome to my EtsyShop.

MYSELF:
I am a jewellery designer and artist based in Istanbul. When I graduated in Photography from the Art College I already knew that I have another dream that I wouldn't just let go. Goldsmithing! So I started taking lessons from able artisans in the "magical" Grand Bazaar, the gold center of Istanbul. In the 2003 abandoned my career as a photographer and get detailed training in jewellery making, gemology, stone-setting and design. It was in the 2005 when I came back from Italy, eager to start working as a jewellery designer. Since then I design, make jewellery, teach and enjoy living in this very inspiring city. I have my work bench set just in the middle of my living room and in the center of my life!

mayjewellery: designer pieces, small series.
senayakin: contemporary studio jewellery, one-of-a-kinds.
