Bio

I'm Kari. I started my business, Beading Heart Creations, over 5 years ago because I love beads and can't seem to get enough of them. My background is in chemical engineering, but I have always enjoyed design work in many different arts. Jewelry design has always been my first love, though (besides my husband and kids!). I enjoy the challenge of creating one-of-a-kind custom pieces that my customers love to wear. I have designed jewelry for many brides and bridal parties. I specialize in sterling silver, freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, and Swarovski crystals. I am constantly experimenting with new techniques to bring a unique quality to my designs. I sell my work from my home, at select shows, and through shops in the Denver, CO and Anchorage, AK areas. If you are interested in carrying my pieces in a shop or show, please contact me.

I'm pretty flexible, so let me know if you have any special requests.

Please supervise small children while they are wearing jewelry since my work contains small beads.

Payment methods: I accept Visa and Mastercard through my merchant account. The charge will appear as Beading Heart Creations. I also accept payment through PayPal and checks. I will ship your item(s) once your check has cleared. Please allow up to 10 days for this.

**Sales tax for Colorado residents** - I have to charge 2.9% sales tax. Please wait for an invoice from me before paying by Visa, Mastercard, or check if you live in Colorado. If you are paying with PayPal, sales tax will be automatically calculated for you. Thank you.

Shipping - I will carefully package your jewelry in an organza drawstring bag and a pretty little black box and ship it via first class mail within two business days of receiving PayPal payment and within 2 business days of cleared check (please allow up to 10 business days for it to clear). If you prefer a different shipping method, please let me know before you pay. I strongly suggest insurance as I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items once they leave my hands. Let me know before you pay if you want insurance.

Custom sizes - I offer free custom sizing at the time of purchase. If you need custom sizing please allow an extra 2 days for me to make the adjustment. If you are in need of the piece sooner, please let me know.

My guarantee - I guarantee all my work. Please contact me if you are not satisfied with your purchase. I offer a 14 day refund policy on pieces that are in new condition. I will repair jewelry at no cost for up to a year, but ask you to cover shipping. If beads/parts are missing I will contact you before repairing the piece to discuss the cost of replacement beads/parts.
