// ABOUT ME //

I started knitting, crocheting, sewing, painting, drawing and writing as a wee miss. Though I studied art and design when I first went to college, I studied premed and ended up with a degree in organizational behavior!

I managed finance and administration at Stanford's School of Medicine until December 2009. Now I design knitting patterns and sell hand knits fulltime, along with some consulting work.

I love knitting for many reasons, including the ability to create something brand new each time I cast on. The same yarn might inspire a completely new design with multiple uses. Similarly, it may serve multiple purposes, such as warmth, softness, comfort, embellishment, funkiness, elegance, protection and just fun!
