Bio

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my little shop :o)

If you’re looking for unique, one of a kind, handcrafted jewelry, you’ve come to the right place.

I have always loved jewelry, ever since I was a little girl rummaging through my mother’s jewelry stash - all those pretty shiny baubles in a rainbow of colors! I used to sneak into her room while she was in the kitchen and try on all her earrings, bracelets and necklaces – 3, 4 even 5 at a time. I loved the way some pieces jingled and jangled, and dangly earrings were (and still are) my favorite. Once I was done with my “secret mission”, I would put everything back just the way I found it so that I wouldn’t get caught playing with her “taboo treasures” - I thought I was being sneaky but she was wise to my wily ways…

Well, I don’t have to sneak around anymore - now, I make my own pretty shiny baubles! I enjoy working with a variety of materials and using different techniques, such as wire work, precious metal clay and traditional metalsmithing techniques. You will find that my jewelry styles are pretty varied – there are so many styles and materials out there that I like and want to play with that rarely will I make the same thing twice. This means that just about anything you purchase from my shop will truly be one of a kind.

However, if you browse through my sold pieces and find something that you absolutely have to have, just ask, I may be able to recreate it or something like it. I am also happy to work with you to create a custom piece.

All of my pieces currently for sale are made with sterling or fine silver. I also like to combine gemstones and dichroic glass with the precious metal. I never use "mystery metals" or cheap chintzy plastic beads, period. If I wouldn’t wear it myself, I would not dare sell it to someone else. Sorry, you will never find any lucite beads used in any of my pieces (no offense to those artisans who use "vintage lucite" - translation: "old plastic"!)

I take great pride in the care and effort I put into each and every piece, from the selection of only top quality materials to top quality workmanship. I am continuously striving to perfect my skills and learn new ones by taking classes with renowned teachers in the art jewelry world and keeping up with art jewelry books and magazines. Hopefully this is translated into each piece of jewelry I bring to you. I have also recently completed my Level 1 Certification with ArtClay World and am now a Certified ACW Instructor.

I try to be as detailed and accurate as possible in all my descriptions, but if you ever have any questions or special requests, please feel free to send me a convo.

Please note that in many cases, bracelets and necklaces are sizable, although I might sometimes forget to indicate as such in my listings - just ask.
