I am a professionally trained artist and illustrator who loves painting animals. I paint primarily in watercolors. Many of the paintings in my shop were drawn and painted from live animal models.

Besides creating artwork, I also like chickens, chinchillas, pit bull dogs, science, reading, cephalopods, and dinosaurs.

How to care for your original watercolor paintings:

All my paintings are created using acid free paper and lightfast paints and inks. With proper care, they will last for a very long time.

Watercolor paintings should be displayed in a frame, preferably one with UV glass. Paintings should be framed with an acid free mat, to prevent the painting from pressing up to the glass. You should never hang any painting of any media in bright direct sunlight - this will cause all paints to eventually fade.
