My name is Kris & I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

Hello and thank you for visiting my shop.

I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, most involve glass. I have been a fan of stained glass for many years and truly enjoy making stained glass items. There seems to be something about glass that just draws me to it - maybe it's the shine, the way it captures the light and even the shadows.
Most stained glass items are listed in quantities so you can order more than 1. Items shown are the originals, if ordering more than 1 of an item, the 2nd will be very similar but not an exact duplicate as the patterns in the glass vary.

I'm leaving this next section in case I bring back my handpainted ornaments.

A note about my ornaments:
*My ornaments - are hand painted one by one - Each one is signed and dated just like a mini-art piece - only in the round! They are painted with perm-enamel glass paints NOT acrylics and NOT over the original paint. Each ornament will arrive in it's own box - All the boxes are handmade, some are square made with posterboard with wrapping paper adhered to it & a matching gift tag- no extra charge for these. Some of the ornaments are sold as sets with a decorated 6 sided box with a matching gift tag.

I'm a 56 yr-old mom and grandmother.
So, I've had a while to learn and practice a number of crafts.

Such as:
- candle making
-knitting & crocheting
- sewing
-beading - earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, bead weaving, stringing, wire connections, sewing beads on clothes.
- cross stitch
- wood working and painting with acrylics
- painting with oils - as in fine art painting - which I can't do anymore - the fumes make me ill.
- photgraphy (relearning with digital)
- painting on glass.
- paper creations, cards, gift tags, quilling, cutting, origami, boxes and bags. I've been making cards for years for friends and family.

So, you see I've done alot. And most of what I do, I do well - or I don't do it. For instance, I'm not very good at making things out of clay. I do play with it now and then. I can NOT do just one thing. I have to switch around - partly because I get bored doing the same thing, partly because of physical problems.
But, one thing you can be assured of - the handmade items you find in either shop are done well, or you won't find them there. They either get recycled or thrown away.
I try to keep my items both new and destash fairly priced - if you think an item is priced too high, tell me - if you think it's priced too low - well you got a bargain.

Although I have tried quitting many many times, I do still smoke - mostly outside and all packing materials are kept in a smoke free environment.
