Chantilly McKinnon is the one woman circus behind My Girl Thursday. Operating out of a small apartment/craft studio/superhero lair, she creates a diverse line of handmade goods that are essential to everyday life.

Although the origins of this crafty lady are not known for sure, it is often told that she was born at a yard sale and raised in a thrift store. Even now it is not uncommon to find her digging through piles of cast off garments at local second hand shops. It’s not that she’s opposed to buying new items; it’s just that she’s too darn frugal for that.

Browsing through the products offered by My Girl Thursday you will find that almost every item is infused with something recycled. Reincarnation isn’t just for the pious anymore. Upcycling and repurposing is a big part of what My Girl Thursday is all about.
