Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about my little corner of the world. I am Mary Jo Elliott and have been married to my husband, Russ, for several years. We have two boys, Seth and Samuel, and we live in a small town of about 350 people in Springville, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.

We bought our circa 1827 farmhouse in 2003 and have been carefully restoring her back to the way she was meant to be...a lovely country home in which to raise a family, just as Albert and Eliza Beardsley, the original family did through the early and mid 1800's. I suppose it is our love for each other and the pride that we feel in restoring this home that has led myself and my family to want to recapture the way things used to be....the love of God and family, maintaining higher standards and taking pride in what you do and what you have accomplished, upholding traditions and just enjoy living a more simple way of life.

Our family sells our primitives on both our website and our retail shoppe, Fine Country Living Primitives, right here at our property in Springville, Pa.
